Independent Ideas Via Pestalozzi,4 Milano Martedì 18 maggio, ore 19.30 - 00.00 video mostra Art At Work presenta nella nuova sede dell’agenzia Independent Ideas a Milano il lavoro di Christian Frosi e Diego Perrone prodotto dopo la mostra dello scorso novembre a Torino “Amare le persone destinate alle tue cose”. Durante la preparazione della mostra "Amare le persone ..." i due artisti rimangono sospesi in un non-luogo in cui scegliere oggetti diventa importante quanto installarli o crearli. In questo contesto nasce l'idea di creare un "archivio di mamme punk". Una volta raccolte centinaia di immagini di donne e ragazze punk, vengono scelti come supporti i prezziari dei gelati, che amplificano l'intento di toccare quel attimo agrodolce in cui si mischiano vitalità, superficialità, forza e contraddizione. I lavori che saranno presentati sono 15 tele di tessuto poliestere stampato a sublimazione di cm 150 x 150 come le bandiere di una repubblica punk. Independent Ideas Via Pestalozzi,4 Milano Tuesday May 18th, 7.30pm - 12.00am exhibition video Art At Work presents in the new Milanese spaces of the agency Independent Ideas the work by Christian Frosi and Diego Perrone produced as a further development from the exhibition “Amare le persone destinate alle tue cose” held in Torino in the fall of 2009. For this exhibition the artists worked suspended in a non space, where choosing becomes as important as creating or installing art works. This is the context behind the creation of a home-made archive of ‘punk mothers’ After having collected hundreds of images of punk teenagers and women, the artists collaged them on the billboards used for the prices of mass-produced ice-creams, as a way of amplifying the desire to touch that sweet and sour moment in which vitality, superficiality, strength and contradictions. The artists will present fifteen sublimation prints on polyester 150 x 150 hanging in the space like flags of a punk republic.
